Lizzie Borden Took an Ax, on a scorching, hot summer
day in 1892 in river, Massachusetts, Lizzie Borden returns home to the
house, she shares together with her father Andrew, stepparent Abby and
sister Emma. But, not like any normal day, Lizzie encounters the bloody
scene of her parents violently dead. Police quickly question multiple
suspects in the city, however, proof keeps pointing back to the Borden's
youngest girl Lizzie, the apparently wholesome Sunday school teacher,
as the prime suspect. Lizzie's attorney, Andrew Jennings, proclaims her
innocence arguing that it's impossible a girl might commit the wicked
crime of brutally murdering her family with an ax. Or is it? Lizzie is
placed on trial for the murders, each in the court and within the press,
sparking a widespread dialogue regarding her guilt. As the case rages
on, the court proceedings fuel a colossal amount of sensationalized
stories and headlines in newspapers throughout the country, forever
leaving Lizzie Borden's name in infamy.
